movies

Every Wednesday night through August the Falmouth Village Association plays a movie on a projector at dusk in Falmouth’s beautiful Peg Noonan Park.  Enjoy new movies like The Box Trolls as well as favorite classics like The Princess Bride. It’s the perfect excuse to cozy up under the stars and breathe some fresh air. Bring chairs and a blanket, grab some take-out from any of the unbelievable Main Street restaurants and enjoy your night out! Check Falmouth Village Association’s website for an up to day schedule of which movie is playing each week.
Farmer’s Markets are one of the most delicious parts of Cape Cod, and Falmouth is no exception. All week long, there are farmer’s markets across the area with the freshest local foods and most unique handmade wares. Because of the uncharacteristically long winter, many local farmers are finding their crops are a bit delayed which means we will be enjoying a beautiful summer bounty into the fall.

The Falmouth Farmer’s Market takes place each Thursday through October 8th from 12-6pm at Marine Park. The market features products exclusively from FFMCape Cod and Southeastern Mass. Enjoy locally grown and artisanally crafted vegetables, fruits, cheeses, lobsters, breads, pies, pastas, smoked fish, herbs, vegetable starts and ornamentals.

The Falmouth/Mashpee Green Harvest Organic Farmer’s Market happens on Tuesdays through October 13th from 12-4pm at the Cape Cod Fair Grounds. You’ll find local organic veggies, herbs, fruits, greens, pickles, organic/vegan gluten-free baked goods, olive oils, fruit tarts, wild picked berry jams and jellies, edible and medicinal mushrooms, local honey, artisanal cheeses, farm-fresh eggs, seafood, herbs, vegetables and organic/fair trade coffees. In addition to those irresistible edibles, there are flowering plants, locally made home goods and treats for kids and pets.

The Woods Hole Craft and Farmer’s Market takes place in the heart of Woods Hole Village every Saturday from 8am-3pm through October. This farmer’s market is home to creative arts and fresh local produce. Woods Hole village is located at the end of the Shining Sea Bike Path, a wonderful treat after a day of cycling! Tour the many artist’s tables and find the perfect piece of jewelry to commemorate your time on the Cape.

Make your stay in Falmouth last by taking home something fresh!
