Hydrangea Success Series: Planting and Replanting
Saturday, May 12 @ 1:30 – 2 :30; Thursday, May 17 @ 10:30 – 11:30
Mal Condon, Curator of Hydrangeas at Heritage Museums and Gardens is your presentor for this session. The presentation is primarily for gardeners who wish to learn more about the Museums successful practices regarding planting and replanting. Primarily the workshop will focus on hydrangeas to include planting techniques and soil preparation yet the information is pretty universal to almost any of the woody ornamental plants you would garden on the Cape. Mr Condon will discuss mulching best practices as well as proper fertilizing and the ever popular information on hydrangea bloom color control. We highly recommend advance registration as this series often will sell out.
