History, Arts and Culture abound in Falmouth

Falmouth is an important New England historical site with a commitment to preserving the architecture of the past.  Both Woods Hole and Main Street are designated historic districts and have maintained much the same look for over a hundred years.  Kathy Lee Bates, the writer of “America the Beautiful” was born here and the Falmouth Historical Society or the Woods Hole Museum are wonderful spots to learn more about the rich history of this special town.
